Galway based Electronic Music Producer and Composer, Maria McGrath briefs us on the message and heart behind one of her most recent projects, 'Filter'.

Maria tells us that:
"Filter' is the most energetic of my recent singles, influenced by my compositions for short-film and mixing it with electronic/lo-fi genres. 'Filter' is bright, chill and full of happiness - all of the things I have struggled to feel during this pandemic. For many people, each lockdown was an opportunity to create. For me, however, my inspiration for creation dropped entirely in the first half of this year. With this, a lot of my motivation fell, and as a result, I put off releasing this track. I decided to dust my bruised ego off and recognise Filters' character for what it is - an atmospheric euphoria that deserves to serve people in finding their definition of happiness, post-pandemic. As the world slowly finds normality again, this track will release as an uplifting end to the introduction section of 'Prediction.'s story, which has been and will continue to be promoted over on my Instagram and Tik Tok (@predictionmusic)"
